The Miory region hosted a training and methodological seminar for employees of the operational-tactical block of the Vitebsk region's Ministry of Emergency Situations units.

A training and methodological seminar was held in Miory with employees of the operational-tactical unit. The seminar was attended by Deputy Head Andrey Nikolaevich Baltrúk, deputy heads of regional and district departments of the region, responsible for operational-tactical work.

The opening remarks were made by the Head of the Vitebsk Directorate, Sergey Meshkóshkin, who focused on discipline, conscientious performance of official duties, injuries, and sports. He spoke about the importance of conducting practice-oriented work at the local level and maintaining a high level of combat readiness of the units.

The seminar participants discussed the main shortcomings identified by the zonal service unit employees during the provision of practical and methodological assistance. A review of fires and the main shortcomings identified during the analysis of the actions of employees in emergency situations during firefighting and emergency response was conducted, as well as the circumstances and causes of employee injuries and violations of safety regulations.

Based on the results of the seminar, all emerging issues were addressed. A set of decisions was developed on the main areas of activity.
