Miory. Raids on reservoirs and water recreation areas
The established warm weather draws people to reservoirs. Both townspeople and villagers try to spend their free time by the water. However, even when relaxing by a reservoir, it is necessary to know and follow safety rules to avoid trouble.
Miory rescuers, together with representatives of the district ОСВОД (OSVOD - Voluntary Society for the Rescue of Persons on Water) and employees of the internal affairs department, went to the city beach and to places forbidden for swimming on the weekend to conduct an briefing on safety measures at reservoirs. Especially since the sad statistics of drownings encourage educational work.
The attention of vacationers was drawn to the fact that water requires caution, and when on a reservoir, it is necessary to remember and observe elementary safety rules. Children on the beach had a separate conversation. Rescuers reminded them not to fool around or engage in rough games on the water, not to swim beyond the buoys, and to heed the instructions of adults. Vacationers were once again reminded of the rescue service phone numbers to call in case of an emergency.
