Every parent should know – you cannot leave children alone

"Do not leave children unattended" is the name of the republican campaign of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and with the same appeal, rescuers from Miory region addressed parents in the district center during events held as part of the campaign.

Leaving children unattended is very dangerous. Children, due to their lack of experience and natural curiosity, sometimes commit thoughtless and dangerous acts. The desire to try something new and unknown leads boys and girls to dangerous games and activities. Therefore, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees appealed to adults not only not to leave children unattended but also to teach them the rules of safe behavior from childhood.

Interactive platforms from rescuers are a good opportunity to remind both parents and children about observing safety rules, where they could jointly complete simple tasks and receive a gift for it.

And the tasks were chosen very usefully. Thanks to methodological developments, rescuers managed to remind about the rules of extinguishing an initial fire, evacuation from a smoky room, unit call numbers, and much more. Not only children, who are always interested in participating in some contests, but also adults took part in the competitions with pleasure. Every visitor who approached the Ministry of Emergency Situations platform left not only with purchases but also with a useful gift and knowledge about safe behavior.
