The Deputy Head of the Regional Emergency Situations Department visited the Miory District

During a visit to the Miory district, the Deputy Head of the institution "Vitebsk Regional Emergency Situations Department" Andrei Baltruk met with the staff of Miory Secondary School No. 2 named after N.G. Izvarin and rescuers from the district emergency situations department.

In a conversation with representatives of education, Andrei Nikolaevich outlined the most common causes of fire emergencies. Careless handling of fire while smoking, often while intoxicated, remains the undisputed leader in fire incidents. He gave examples from practice where a bad habit can cost not only one person their life but also the death of an entire family.

The Deputy Head also did not overlook such a cause as children's pranks with fire. Andrei Nikolaevich said that summer holidays will begin soon and leaving children unsupervised by adults is unacceptable. After all, the most terrible punishment for this is to lose a beloved child forever.

The Deputy Head of the department also reminded about compliance with fire safety rules at facilities and the rules for using primary fire extinguishing means. At the end of his speech, he distributed memos with life safety rules to those present.

During the meeting with the staff of the district department, Andrei Baltruk noted the important role of each employee in the unit's work. He emphasized, in connection with the current situation in the country and abroad, the combat readiness of the units and the fulfillment of assigned tasks at any time of day and weather conditions. He touched upon issues of discipline and legality in the performance of official duties, maintaining the honor and dignity of employees of emergency services and departments.
