State Fire Supervision informs!

In April, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory measures in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the State Cultural Institution "Miory Center of Culture and Folk Art", the dormitory of the Unitary Enterprise "Housing and Communal Services of the Miory District", OJSC "Papshuli", as well as an unscheduled monitoring of the "Safiyka" №18 store of the Unitary Enterprise "Zolotaya Niva".

         During the monitoring of the Center of Culture and Folk Art, as well as the dormitory, special attention was paid to compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, and the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing equipment and fire automation systems. Based on the results of the monitoring, a number of violations were identified regarding compliance with the requirements for the maintenance and determination of the quantity of primary fire extinguishing means, personal protective equipment, and fire water supply. Also, during the monitoring, compliance by the licensee LLC "SpetsYuKengineering", ChTUP "Polotsksantech-electrosbyt" with the requirements of the legislation in the field of fire safety activities, specifically in the technical maintenance of fire automation systems at these facilities, was studied. No violations were found on their part. Recommendations for the elimination of identified violations were sent to the heads of the State Cultural Institution "Miory Center of Culture and Folk Art" and the dormitory of the Unitary Enterprise "Housing and Communal Services of the Miory District".

         The results of the monitoring of OJSC "Papshuli" showed that a number of facilities have violations regarding compliance with the requirements for the maintenance of buildings, structures, and premises (compliance with requirements for ensuring safe evacuation in case of fire), compliance with the requirements for the maintenance and determination of the quantity of primary fire extinguishing means, as well as compliance with the requirements for the procedure of conducting fire safety briefings and checking employees' knowledge of fire safety. Based on the results of the monitoring, recommendations for the elimination of identified violations were sent to the head.

As a result of an unscheduled inspection of the "Safiyka" store No. 18 of the unitary enterprise "Zolotaya Niva", a number of violations were identified that pose a threat of harm to the life and health of citizens living in the dormitory of the UP ZhKH of the Miory district, namely: the store premises are not equipped with a fire alarm system and a system for alerting and managing the evacuation of people in case of fire, also the store premises are not separated from the residential part of the dormitory building by solid (without windows and doors) fire-resistant partitions, including violations in the maintenance of evacuation routes and exits. Based on the results of the inspection, a proposal was made to suspend (prohibit) the activities of the "Safiyka" store No. 18 of the unitary enterprise "Zolotaya Niva" until the violations are eliminated.

Also, employees of the state fire supervision checked compliance with the requirements for products that are the object of technical regulation TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at the retail facility "Master" of CTUP "Itera Trade" (sale of electrical installation products, fire extinguishers, autonomous smoke fire detectors, fire and biological protection compound for wood and fabrics), "Elektrositi" of CTUP "Elektroreshenie" (sale of electrical installation products, autonomous smoke fire detectors).

All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the requirements.

Employees of the Miory Regional Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need to comply with fire safety requirements by all employees of enterprises and organizations. If a fire is detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fire, and report the fire to the rescue service.
