Родители, берегите детей от огня

Parents, protect children from fire

Rescuers from Miory met with parents at school meetings, where they discussed safety rules and the importance of supervising children.

Employees of the rescue service reminded everyone that caution when handling fire is necessary for all people – both adults and children. For parents, the issue of adhering to these rules is particularly acute. Little explorers of the surrounding world are interested in everything. And parents must be especially careful when a child begins to show interest in objects that are dangerous to them: matches, sharp and cutting objects, household chemicals. It is important to explain to the child how dangerous such objects are and what can happen if they are used improperly.

Parents were reminded of the information campaign "Be with your child," which is taking place throughout the country and is primarily aimed at highlighting that leaving children unattended is unacceptable and can lead to tragic consequences. They were informed about the statistics of child deaths in fires in the country, and the tragic example of the deaths of four children in the Brest region was also mentioned.

At the end of the events, parents were shown the Ministry of Emergency Situations film "Do not leave children alone!" and all attendees were given visual aids on safety.
