In a real emergency situation
In the Chepukovskaya school of the Miory district, rescuers conducted practical training in case of an emergency.
As part of the training, the rules for evacuating students and school staff in case of smoke inside the educational institution were practiced. According to the training scenario, smoke occurred on one of the two available stairwells. To make the situation realistic, rescuers used special equipment for launching stage smoke. However, the children and the teaching staff, whose classrooms were located near the "smoked" stairwell, were not at all frightened by the change in the situation. They instantly oriented themselves in the current situation and headed for the other staircase.
Rescuers from the nearest fire station were involved in the practical exercise. Their task was to extinguish the "fire" that had occurred, provide assistance to an injured child, and rescue the victim to fresh air. Teachers were responsible for evacuating the children.
After the training, the results were summarized by the first deputy head of the district department for emergency situations, Alexey Korolev. The school staff received high praise for their quick and clear actions in the situation. Separately, the head of the practical exercise discussed the situation with the post workers, pointing out shortcomings and focusing on compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents.
