Learning safety rules through an engaging play

In Miory, the district cultural center hosted an interactive performance "The Fiery Lion" by the Yakub Kolas National Academic Drama Theater, attended by students from almost all schools in the district.

Throughout the ages, art has been and remains a powerful means of engaging people through emotions, not only to make them think but also to evoke empathy and a sense of responsibility towards safety issues through creativity.

A captivating plot, play of light, musical numbers, and a cunning Lion. The performance delighted the young audience with all of these. Of course, as in any fairy tale, good triumphed over evil. And knowledge of how to act correctly, along with adherence to safety measures, helped the characters overcome the fire.

Children not only had pleasant viewing experiences but also interacted with the characters. They prompted safety rules from their seats, the rescuer dispatch number, and sang and danced with the characters.

Learning safety rules can also be an engaging activity. Through the example of the play, children saw what carelessness and playing with matches can lead to. Dear parents, do not leave children unattended. Keep matches and other dangerous items out of reach. The rescue service number is 101 or 112.
