State Fire Supervision informs!

In March, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory activities in the form of a spot check at the facilities of the healthcare institution "Miory Central District Hospital", as well as monitoring at the facilities of the educational institution "Sitkovo Basic School", educational institution "Yazno Secondary School".

The results of the spot check at the healthcare institution "Miory Central District Hospital" showed that a number of facilities have violations regarding compliance with the requirements for the maintenance of buildings, structures, and premises (compliance with requirements for ensuring safe evacuation in case of fire), compliance with requirements for the maintenance and determination of the quantity of primary fire extinguishing means, as well as compliance with requirements for the procedure of conducting fire safety briefings and checking employees' knowledge of fire safety. The condition and operability of fire alarm systems and systems for notifying people about fire were also studied. Based on the results of the inspection, an act and an order to eliminate the violations were prepared, and deadlines for their elimination were set. The issue of bringing a number of officials of the institution to administrative responsibility is being considered.

During the monitoring of educational institutions, special attention was paid to issues of compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, and the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing means and fire automation systems. Based on the results of the monitoring of the educational institution "Sitkovo Basic School", violations of the requirements for the finishing of evacuation routes and the maintenance of the fire alarm system in working order were identified. Also, during the monitoring, compliance with the requirements of the legislation by the licensee "Polotsksantech-electrosbyt" LLC in the field of ensuring fire safety regarding the technical maintenance of fire automation systems in these institutions was studied; no violations on their part were detected. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the head of the educational institution "Sitkovo Basic School".

Also, employees of the state fire supervision inspected compliance with the requirements for products that are the object of technical regulation of TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at the retail outlets "Ferum" of UP "TNKUltra" (sale of extruded electrical installation products), "Tri Tseny" of LLC "Play Hard" (sale of fire extinguishers), "KaLiNa" of LLC "AKOtrans" (sale of extruded electrical installation products).

All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.

Employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need to comply with fire safety requirements by all employees of enterprises and organizations. In case of detecting fires, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fires, and report the fire to the rescue service.
