Construction sites – under special control!

Employees of the Miory department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations visited construction sites located in the district center to monitor compliance with fire safety regulations at construction sites.

Special attention was paid to mobile (inventory) buildings, as these temporary structures often become the scene of fires. It is in such buildings that builders spend their free time. These buildings, incidentally, were installed only at the construction site of the facility: a 40-apartment residential building at 35 Verkhnedvinskaya Street in Miory.

During the work carried out, no gross violations of fire safety regulations were found. The existing temporary buildings are equipped with serviceable fire extinguishing and fire detection means, and the persons involved in the construction site have been trained in fire safety requirements. A number of remarks and shortcomings were eliminated directly during the preventive measures.

Conversations were held with employees involved in construction sites regarding compliance with fire safety requirements, the rules for using primary fire extinguishing means, and the skillful adoption of measures in case of emergencies.
