State Fire Supervision informs!
In February, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory activities in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the educational institution "Uzmenskaya Basic School", the educational institution "Chepukovskaya Secondary School", and the "Povyatye" branch of SUP "Cheressy".
During the monitoring of the facilities, special attention was paid to the issues of compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, and the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing equipment and fire automation systems.
Based on the results of the monitoring in the educational institutions, a number of violations were identified concerning the maintenance of primary fire extinguishing means, as well as the safe condition of evacuation routes and exits. During the monitoring, compliance with the requirements of the legislation by the licensee CTUP "Polotsksantech-electrosbyt" in the provision of fire safety activities related to the technical maintenance of fire automation systems in these institutions was also studied; no violations on their part were detected. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the heads of the institutions.
During the supervisory activities at the facilities of the "Povyatye" branch of SUP "Cheressy", it was established that officials of the organization do not exercise proper control over the availability and maintenance of primary fire extinguishing means, namely, facilities and vehicles are not fully equipped with primary fire extinguishing means (fire extinguishers), and the storage of coarse fodder is allowed in violation of established requirements. Recommendations for eliminating the violations were sent to the head of the organization.
Also, employees of the state fire supervision checked compliance with the requirements for products that are the object of technical regulation of TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and firefighting equipment" at the retail outlet "Avtomag" of individual entrepreneur Ladis O.Yu. (sale of fire extinguishers), MAZS No. 26 of RUP "Belorusneft-Vitebskoblnefteprodukt" (sale of fire extinguishers), the postal service unit of Miory of the Glubokoye regional postal hub of the Vitebsk branch of RUP "Belpochta" (sale of fire detectors), the store "Metr2" of the private enterprise "RosEnergoKontrakt" (sale of fire and bioprotective compounds).
All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.
Employees of the Miory Regional Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need to comply with fire safety requirements by all employees of enterprises and organizations. If fires are detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fires, and report the fire to the rescue service.
