What to do if there is smoke coming from someone's windows and doors

- call 101 or 112;

- if it is a private house, try to find out from neighbors if there are people inside. Breaking windows is only permissible if it will save lives, as the influx of oxygen will intensify the fire;

- if you smell smoke in the entrance hall or on the staircase and see smoke coming from under a neighbor's door, but the neighbors do not open the door when you ring the bell,

* evacuate the building

* notify other neighbors about the fire

* help the elderly and children evacuate

* wait for the arrival of the Ministry of Emergency Situations units, inform the firefighters about the location of the fire and whether there are still people in the building.
