Rural safety
To remind villagers of basic safety rules, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations suggested combining pleasant shopping for villagers with a review of safe behavior rules. Having built a safety route and armed themselves with props, rescuers set out together with a mobile shop to remote corners of the district in Novopogostsky and Miorsky rural councils, in the villages of Katilovo, Kletov Dvor, and Blazhki.
Employees of the district department told citizens about fires that occurred in the district, paying special attention to fatal fires, and gave examples of positive cases of fire alarm activation. Rescuers also talked about the rules for operating electrical equipment and stove heating, including during low temperatures, and offered to take a safety test and identify violations.
In addition to reviewing the basics of life safety, villagers were told about the causes of fires, the dangers of going out on the ice, and the mandatory use of a life jacket. They also reviewed emergency service numbers and rules of conduct in emergency situations.
At the end of the event, everyone received thematic booklets as gifts.
