Safety in every home

The main causes of emergencies in residential buildings continue to be careless handling of fire, violation of the rules for operating heating and electrical equipment, and children's pranks with fire. In most cases, fire emergencies are the result of carelessness and disregard for safety rules.

Careless handling of fire, especially when smoking and when intoxicated, is the most common cause of fires and deaths in fires. Moreover, in most cases, people leading an antisocial lifestyle become the perpetrators of such emergencies.

In order to prevent fires and deaths from them, the campaign "Safety - in Every Home!" will start on February 1.

This year, the campaign will be held in two stages. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will visit educational institutions, large families, places with mass gatherings of people, retail outlets, and rural settlements. As part of the campaign, rescuers will remind about the importance of observing safety rules in everyday life. This includes heating appliances, electrical wiring and appliances, careful handling of fire, and prevention of children's pranks with fire.

The campaign will conclude on February 23 with a final event at the "Santa" store.
