State Fire Supervision informs!

In December, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory activities in the form of scheduled monitoring at the facilities of the State Cultural Institution "Miory Historical and Ethnographic Museum" and the hotel of CHUP "Nikafood". Also, in preparation for the festive events, unscheduled monitoring was carried out at the facilities of the education department of the district executive committee.

Following the monitoring of the State Cultural Institution "Miory Historical and Ethnographic Museum", a number of violations were identified regarding the maintenance of primary fire extinguishing equipment in good working order, as well as regarding compliance with the requirements for ensuring safe evacuation from the building in case of fire. During the monitoring of the hotel of CHUP "Nikafood", no gross violations of fire safety requirements were detected. At the same time, during the monitoring, compliance with the requirements of the legislation by the licensee, the Miory branch of the Department of Internal Affairs Protection of the Republic of Belarus, in the field of technical maintenance of fire automation systems at the specified facilities was also studied, and no violations on their part were found. However, the heads of the inspected facilities need to take measures to modernize the existing fire automation systems. Recommendations and information on eliminating the identified violations have been sent to the officials of the organizations.

During unscheduled monitoring of educational institutions, it was established that, on the whole, fire safety requirements are met at the facilities. However, a non-operational fire alarm and notification system was detected in the kindergarten No. 2 in Miory. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations have been sent to the head of the institution.

Also, employees of the state fire supervision inspected the compliance with the requirements for products that are the object of technical regulation of TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at the retail facilities "Evrolyuks" of ChTUP "Bulgak" (sale of fire detectors, electrical installation molding products), "Uyut" of IP Buchinskaya (sale of fire detectors, electrical installation molding products), "Elektrositi" of IP Petkevich (sale of fire detectors, electrical installation molding products). All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.

Employees of the Miory regional department for emergency situations once again remind about the need to comply with fire safety requirements by all employees of enterprises and organizations. If a fire is detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fire, and report the fire to the rescue service.
