Miory. Fire prevention work in housing
As part of a set of preventive measures to prevent fires and deaths from them, employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations visited the households of citizens living in the territory of Miory town and Miory district.
Rescuers, as part of raid groups, together with employees of the internal affairs department and representatives of healthcare institutions, visited the households of citizens belonging to the "risk group". They paid attention to citizens' compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of electrical wiring, stove heating, the availability and operability of autonomous fire detectors, and strongly recommended those who had not yet purchased one to install it. Once again, they reminded about the rules for operating stoves in winter conditions with low temperatures.
For preventive purposes, explanatory conversations were held with residents about the prevention of fires and deaths from them, including due to careless handling of fire while intoxicated, and the basic rules of fire safety in everyday life, as well as how to behave in case of an emergency.
To reinforce the information, citizens were given memorable visual aids containing a lot of useful information.
