If the goals are united – the plans are achievable

The Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters (BYPA) will celebrate another "birthday" in October, tracing its origins back to 2001.

Annually, under the auspices of the BYPA, numerous preventive, educational, competitive, and entertainment events are held, with young rescuers as direct participants. Today, no significant event, whether in regional centers or across the republic, takes place without the BYPA. Whether it's a city festival, honoring veterans, or a celebration for students, various concert programs, or public events with a preventive focus – BYPA activists are not only welcome guests but also active participants everywhere.

The organization's authority is also very high among state structures – government bodies and other public organizations. With the support of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture, republican events and campaigns are held annually aimed at promoting the profession of rescuer-firefighter, educating the population and workers, children, and youth on the basics of life safety, popularizing the BYPA, and attracting new members to the organization. These include the now traditional: children's creativity contest "Rescuers Through the Eyes of Children," the "Rescuer" children's field camp, the "Gathering of Young Rescuers-Firefighters," and the "School of Safety" contest; campaigns such as "Youth for Safety," "Safety in Every Home," "Holidays Without Smoke and Fire," and many others.

One of the important areas of BYPA's activity is fire and rescue sports. Belarusian young men have repeatedly become prize-winners of various championships and have participated in international competitions.

Cooperation between the youth of different states in the field of life safety is currently receiving all possible support and assistance. It was precisely for this purpose that the International Association of Youth Public Organizations of Fire Rescuers was established several years ago. It includes the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters, the All-Russian Children and Youth Movement "Safety School", the All-Ukrainian Movement "School of Safety", and public organizations of young rescuers from Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland.

The Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers-Firefighters is one big family, uniting thousands of like-minded people who are all passionate about one common cause. And if the area of interests, aspirations, and set goals are united, then their possibilities are limitless!
