Speeches in work collectives and prevention in rural areas

Reminding the public about safety requirements is one of the tasks that EMERCOM employees of Miory region carry out almost daily, giving presentations in work collectives and meeting with residents of rural settlements. At such events, rescuers remind people how to protect themselves from fire.

Most fires occur precisely because of the human factor. Inattentiveness to one's own safety sometimes leads to sad consequences. This is also confirmed by the rescuers' statistics. Most often, those who disregard the rules and rely on "chance" find themselves trapped by fire.

We would like to remind you that two people have died in fires in the district this year. In addition, employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations visit educational institutions, where at parent-teacher meetings they remind about the inadmissibility of leaving young children unattended by adults, and about observing safety requirements when using heating and electrical appliances. An autonomous fire alarm, which rescuers advise everyone present to install, will help detect a fire and warn residents about it.
