A playground is for playing, not for injuries
Dear parents! In this article, employees of the Miory district department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are addressing you.
Without a doubt, every child is interested in spending time on playgrounds. And many children do just that, "hanging out" for hours with other children. But in our country, there are cases when harmless games on playgrounds have led to children's injuries.
In our region, and most actively in Miory, there are more and more playgrounds. But even on them, you need to be careful.
- Explain to the child that they should not ride on faulty swings or slides;
- The child should know that if they fall from a swing, they should not get up immediately to avoid hitting their head;
- Tell the child that they should not ride standing up, jump off, get too close if other children are riding, or swing empty swings;
- Explain to the child that before sliding down a slide, they must make sure that the previous child has stood up and moved aside;
- Explain to the child that all structures on the playground are made of iron or other durable material, and, accordingly, if safety rules are not followed, serious injury can occur.
Be careful and vigilant!
