The banya was on fire over the weekend

On September 9 at 21:01, the Crisis Management Center of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations received a report of a bathhouse fire in the village of Novoye Selo, Miory District. The emergency services immediately proceeded to the scene. Upon arrival of the rescuers, smoke was observed inside the sauna. As a result of the fire, the ceiling was damaged, and the walls and ceiling were smoked.

No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is being determined.

Rescuers once again remind about the unconditional observance of fire safety measures. Do not handle fire carelessly, and especially do not smoke in bed. Do not let children play with matches, and do not leave them unattended!
