Fire prevention work in housing
In order to prevent fires and deaths from them, employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations are carrying out preventive work in residential areas.
Rescuers visit the households of citizens belonging to vulnerable categories, pay attention to citizens' compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of electrical wiring, and stove heating. Special attention was focused on the availability and operability of autonomous fire detectors, and those who had not yet purchased one were strongly advised to install it. Citizens were given visual and illustrative materials of a preventive nature. Once again, they are reminded of the rules for operating stoves. Violations identified during the preventive work have been taken under control.
The main goal of this work is to assist citizens in identifying and eliminating violations of fire safety regulations.
For preventive purposes, explanatory work was carried out with residents, the basic rules of fire safety in everyday life were recalled, how to behave in case of an emergency was explained, and emergency service phone numbers were reminded.
