Actions on the "Attention to all!" signal

The signal is given by activating electric sirens, public address systems, and other signaling devices to attract the attention of employees before delivering verbal information. Upon hearing this signal, it is necessary to turn on the TV or radio, tune it to a local or national channel, listen to the emergency message, and then act in accordance with the received instructions.

We also want to draw attention to actions during adverse weather phenomena characteristic of this season: hurricane winds or thunderstorms.

In case of a thunderstorm:

  • take shelter in a building and wait out the storm;
  • do not hide under tall trees, especially isolated ones, in haystacks, in detached structures; do not run across a field;
  • it is dangerous to swim in a body of water or ride a boat;
  • place metal objects (motorcycle, moped, bicycle) aside, move 20-30 m away from them;
  • if a thunderstorm catches you in a car, do not leave it; close the windows and lower the radio antenna;
  • do not use a mobile phone during a thunderstorm.

In case of hurricane winds:

  • if you are caught by the wind in a building, move away from windows; it is better to take a position near the inner walls of the premises;
  • unplug electrical appliances and shut off the gas if possible;
  • it is necessary to avoid panic, understand the possibility of power and internet outages;
  • refrain from walking outdoors;
  • choose a parking spot for your car away from trees and power lines;
  • do not enter damaged buildings; use improvised materials for protection from flying debris and fragments: sheets of plywood, boxes or crates, boards, etc.;
  • do not be near trees or structures of increased risk – bridges, overpasses, pipelines, industrial facilities;

it is better to bypass unstable and light structures, and for shelter, it is preferable to use the entrances of residential buildings or underground passages.
