Children in the spotlight

With the aim of attracting public attention to the problem of injuries and deaths of children from fires due to leaving them unattended, from August 21 to September 15, the republican preventive campaign "Focus on Children!" will be held, timed to coincide with Knowledge Day.

The campaign will take place in places where school supplies are sold. Employees of the district department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will remind parents and schoolchildren about the importance of observing safety rules. Practical contests, games, and logic tasks will be offered to supplement theoretical knowledge. Participants of the campaign will be invited to take the "Safety Exam," thereby testing their knowledge of safe behavior. Moreover, parents and children will receive a small prize for successfully completing the tasks.

Next, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will visit educational institutions. Here, preventive measures will be carried out aimed at preventing deaths from external causes, including fires, as well as preventing children's mischief with fire.
