How to spend your holidays without smoke and fire

Myory rescuers continue to visit schools in the district and remind them about safe rules of conduct during the summer period. As part of these visits, an event was also held with younger schoolchildren from school-based health camps.

Summer for children means endless rest, hot weather, no studies, and swimming in reservoirs. But it is important to remember that even during recreation, basic rules of safe behavior must be observed. Not every activity can be safe and beneficial.

For example, swimming in reservoirs. Water can bring coolness, freshness, and a boost of energy. But this is provided that a person does not allow carelessness on the water. The necessary rules of conduct on the water were discussed during safety lessons with schoolchildren as part of lessons, games, and quizzes.

In addition to behavior on reservoirs, they also talked about behavior in the forest, in nature, and at home. It is important to follow the rules everywhere and always, then emergency situations will bypass you. And if they suddenly appear, it is important to know what to do and the emergency service numbers. The children really enjoyed the events. The kids gladly participated in contests, actively discussed, and answered questions from the Ministry of Emergency Situations employee. It was noticeable that the questions did not catch them off guard.

At the end of the events, children received useful memos and brochures.
