Speeches in work collectives and prevention in rural areas
Reminding the public about safety requirements is one of the tasks that EMERCOM employees of the Miory region carry out almost daily, giving presentations in work collectives and meeting with residents of rural settlements. At such events, rescuers remind people how to protect themselves from fire.
Most fires occur precisely because of the human factor. Inattentiveness to one's own safety sometimes leads to sad consequences. This is also confirmed by the rescuers' statistics. Most often, those who neglect the rules and rely on "chance" find themselves in the grip of fire.
In addition, employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations visit educational institutions, where at parent-teacher meetings they remind about the inadmissibility of leaving young children unattended by adults, and about observing safety requirements when using heating and electrical appliances. An autonomous fire alarm, which rescuers advised everyone present to install, will help detect a fire and warn residents about it.
