State Fire Supervision informs!

In July, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory measures in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the state educational institution "Miorsky Kindergarten No. 1", the state educational institution "Miorsky Kindergarten No. 2", and the state educational institution "Miorsky Kindergarten No. 3".

Following the monitoring of preschool educational institutions, it was established that kindergartens No. 1 and No. 3 have problematic issues regarding the maintenance of fire automation systems in working condition, specifically, the fire alarm control panels have faulty batteries. Additionally, at all inspected facilities, it was found that personal protective equipment (self-rescuers) with expired service life were present. During the monitoring, compliance with the legislation requirements by the licensee, LLC "Polotsksantech-Electrosbyt", in the provision of fire safety activities related to the technical maintenance of fire automation systems in these institutions was also studied, and no violations on their part were identified. Recommendations for the elimination of identified violations have been sent to the heads of the institutions.

Furthermore, employees of the state fire supervision checked compliance with the requirements for products subject to the technical regulation TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at retail outlets: the "Automag" store of individual entrepreneur Ladis O.Yu. (selling powder fire extinguishers) and the "Everything from wire to light bulb" store of individual entrepreneur Tsvetkov M.S. (selling PVC cable channels). All specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.

Currently, the attention of the employees of the district emergency situations department is focused on monitoring compliance with fire safety regulations during the harvesting campaign. Daily raids are organized at agricultural facilities involved in the harvesting campaign and roughage preparation (grain drying complexes, grain storage facilities, machine-tractor parks, fuel and lubricant storage and refueling sites, roughage storage facilities). During the implementation of this work at the facilities of OJSC "Lyubinovo", OJSC "Meritsa", "Povyatie" branch of SUP "Cheressy", PUKS "Miory" a number of violations were identified, for which appropriate measures will be taken to eliminate them.

Employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need for all employees of enterprises and organizations to comply with fire safety requirements. In case of fire detection, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fire, and report the fire to the rescue service.
