Safety rules to prevent disaster

Employees of the Miory Emergency Situations Department, together with employees of the OSVOD (OShchS Vodnykh Obyektov - Water Objects Rescue Service), visited Yazno, Disna, and Sitkovo schools and reminded them about safe behavior rules during the summer period. As part of the trip, events were held with younger schoolchildren from summer health camps at schools.

The summer period is associated with endless recreation, hot weather, no studies, and swimming in water bodies. But it is important to remember that even during recreation, you must follow the rules of conduct. Not every activity can be safe and beneficial.

For example, swimming in water bodies. Water can bring coolness, freshness, and a boost of energy. But this is provided that a person does not allow carelessness on the water. The OSVOD employee spoke about the necessary rules of conduct on the water during safety lessons with schoolchildren as part of the lessons.

In addition to behavior on water bodies, they discussed behavior in the forest, in nature, and also at home. It is important to follow the rules everywhere and always. Then emergency situations will bypass you. And if such situations suddenly arise, it is important to know your actions and the phone numbers for emergency services. Active games and warm-ups, a drawing contest on the theme of safety – all this was very much liked by the children. The kids gladly participated in the contests, actively discussed, and eagerly answered the questions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations employee. It was noticeable that the questions did not catch them off guard.

At the end of the lessons, useful memos and brochures were distributed. These important gifts will help consolidate the acquired knowledge and apply it at the most crucial moment.
