The head of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations visited the Miory district

During a visit to the Miory district, the head of the Vitebsk Regional Emergency Situations Ministry Department, Sergey Meshkoshkin, met with the staff of the territorial center for social services in the town of Miory.

In a conversation with citizens, the head outlined the most common causes of fire emergencies. Still, the undisputed leader in fire incidents is careless handling of fire while smoking, often while intoxicated.

Child safety also did not go unnoticed by the head. Sergey Nikolaevich reminded that leaving children unattended by adults is unacceptable.

The head of the regional department spoke about the opportunity for boys and girls to enroll in a specialized lyceum of the Ministry of Emergency Situations after completing the 6th grade, and about the specifics of studying at this educational institution.

Sergey Meshkoshkin met with the staff of the district department at the city stadium of the town, during a mini-football competition between units. He spoke about significant events in the region, reminded about the importance of discipline and the clear, unwavering fulfillment of their official duties. He gave parting words and wished the athletes good luck.
