In the modern world, we cannot imagine our life without electricity. It illuminates our homes, cooks our food, and thanks to electricity, computers and tablets work. In general, electricity is everything.

But what to do if the electrical wiring fails? Firstly, it is unsafe and can lead to a fire. Secondly, malfunctions in the electrical network can affect the operation of electrical household appliances. Moreover, fires due to malfunction or improper use of electrical appliances and wiring account for approximately a quarter of the total number of fires.

Dilapidated wiring, laid "on rollers," is especially dangerous. Therefore, it is worth reminding citizens of some requirements that must be followed in households.

Firstly, as already mentioned, it is dangerous to operate dilapidated and knowingly faulty electrical wiring and appliances. They may not withstand the current load and catch fire.

The connection of electrical wire cores can also lead to heating at the connection point over time. The connection of wire cores made of different metals (copper and aluminum) is especially dangerous. It is advisable to connect electrical wires using special devices available for sale in stores.

It is extremely dangerous to connect a large number of current consumers (household appliances) to the electrical network. It is important to remember that appliances such as electric kettles and washing machines are powerful appliances and consume a lot of current. And switching them on simultaneously can cause a network overload in the house.

Timely clean electrical appliances from dust. In appliances such as computers, televisions, and laptops, dust often accumulates inside over time. It can cause these appliances to catch fire.

Do not use electrical appliances beyond their service life. If the manufacturer has established that a particular appliance should serve, for example, for 10 years, then using it after this period only increases the risk of a fire in the house.
