Water body raids continue

Fresh air, sunshine, and swimming are not only enjoyable but also serve as a good means of hardening the body. However, water is not as safe as it may seem at first glance; it regularly and mercilessly claims human lives.

Myory rescuers, together with OSVOD employees, continue to visit the district's bodies of water for the purpose of prevention and averting accidents on the water. Under close scrutiny are not only equipped beaches but also places not intended for swimming.

During the raid, explanatory preventive work is carried out with vacationers on observing the rules of conduct at the water body and preventing accidents. Emphasis was placed on the inadmissibility of being near water bodies and swimming while intoxicated, as well as the issue of children being at the water body without adult supervision, as even a few seconds of parental inattention and negligence can lead to tragic consequences.

Rescuers supplemented their useful advice with informational leaflets and brochures on observing basic safety rules, reminding that in case of needing assistance, call 101 or 112 immediately.
