Holidays must be safe

With the aim of preventing emergencies involving children and as part of the republican campaign "Do not leave children alone!", employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations conducted educational events in family-type households.

Rescuers reminded about safety rules during the summer period: the dangers of water bodies, going into the forest without adult supervision, and, of course, they did not bypass the topic of children's mischief with fire. They played educational games. Everyone willingly took part in interesting educational competitions. Thanks to which, they recalled emergency service numbers, causes of emergencies, the benefits of an autonomous fire alarm, and much more. There were also competitions for younger children: they gladly completed tasks and answered questions.

The main task for the rescuers was to convey to the children as much as possible how to behave correctly in a particular emergency situation, and to the parents that only they can ensure their child's safety – by instilling skills of caution, discipline, and safe behavior.
