The Deputy Head of the Regional Emergency Situations Department visited the Miory District

During a visit to the Miory district, the Deputy Head of the institution "Vitebsk Regional Emergency Situations Ministry Department" Andrei Baltruk met with the staff of Miory Secondary School No. 3 named after E.A. Tomko and rescuers from the district emergency situations department.

In a conversation with education representatives, the guest from Vitebsk highlighted the most common causes of fire emergencies. Careless handling of fire while smoking, often while intoxicated, remains the undisputed leader in fire incidents. Andrei Nikolaevich gave examples from practice where a bad habit can cost not only one person's life but also the lives of an entire family.

The Deputy Head of the Department also addressed the cause of children's mischief with fire. Andrei Nikolaevich mentioned that summer holidays are starting soon and leaving children unsupervised is unacceptable. After all, the worst punishment for this is to lose a beloved child forever.

The Deputy Head of the Department also reminded those present about fire safety rules at facilities and the use of primary fire extinguishing equipment. At the end of his speech, the guest from Vitebsk distributed safety guidelines for life activities to the attendees.

During the meeting with the district department staff, Andrei Baltruk noted the important role of each employee in the unit's work. He emphasized, in connection with the current situation in the country and abroad, the combat readiness of the units and the fulfillment of assigned tasks at any time of day and in any weather conditions. He touched upon issues of discipline and legality in the performance of official duties, and maintaining the honor and dignity of employees of emergency situations bodies and units.

As part of a unified information day, Andrei Nikolaevich performed another honorable mission at the request of the leadership of the district emergency situations department: he presented the badges "Fizkulturnik of Belarus" to Miory rescuers who met the standards of the State Physical Culture and Health Complex of the Republic of Belarus.
