Rescuers of Miory district took part in a track and field relay race for Victory Day
Annually, the town of Miory hosts a track and field relay race in anticipation of the holiday, dedicated to Victory Day. This is a form of tribute and respect to the Soviet people who stood firm against the onslaught of fascism during the Great Patriotic War. Rescuers from the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations also participated in this event.
The relay race was held with the aim of developing and promoting athletics, improving health, fostering friendly relations between the teams of district enterprises and institutions, and identifying the best athletes in the town.
Seven teams from organizations in the district participated in the relay race. All participants demonstrated a high level of skill and physical fitness. The absolute first place among all participants was secured by the team from the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations. We congratulate our winners and are proud of their achievement.
