State Fire Supervision informs!

In March, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory measures in the form of selective inspections at the facilities of the state cultural institution "Miory Center of Culture and Folk Art", as well as monitoring at the facilities of the Central District Hospital, the educational institution "Disna Secondary School", and SUP "Titovo".

During the supervisory measures at the facilities of SUP "Titovo", it was established that officials of the organization do not exercise proper control over compliance with fire safety regulations by employees at the facilities under their jurisdiction, smoking is permitted in unauthorized areas, and the work on training employees in fire-technical minimum programs and conducting fire safety briefings is not organized at the proper level. Access for fire fighting equipment to fire ponds is not equipped, and the facilities are not provided with serviceable fire extinguishing means. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the head of the agricultural organization.

Following the monitoring at the educational institution "Disna Secondary School", no violations of fire safety requirements were identified. During the monitoring, compliance with the legislation by the licensee CTUP "Polotsksantech-electrosbyt" in the provision of fire safety services regarding the technical maintenance of fire automation systems in this educational institution was also studied, and no violations were found.

Following the monitoring of the Miory Central District Hospital, violations of fire safety requirements were identified: the possibility of freely opening the lock (latch) on the door located on the evacuation routes from the Yazna district hospital outpatient clinic without a key was not ensured, the locations of primary fire extinguishing means in the infectious diseases ward premises were not marked, as well as the locations of manual fire alarm call points in the hospital building in Miory, and the automatic fire alarm system in the Disna outpatient clinic building has not been restored. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the healthcare institution "Miory Central District Hospital".

During an inspection at the facilities of the state cultural institution "Miyory Center of Culture and Folk Art," violations of fire safety requirements were identified: the facilities do not have a reserve of fire detectors of at least 10% of the installed number, the fire alarm system in the "Yazna Rural House of Culture" branch is inoperable, and the internal fire water supply system in the "Disna City House of Culture" branch is faulty. Most rural clubs have issues with their evacuation exits. A directive to eliminate the violations has been sent to the head of the cultural institution, with deadlines for their rectification.

Additionally, employees of the State Fire Supervision inspected compliance with the requirements for products subject to the technical regulation TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at the facilities of MAZS No. 26 of RUP "Belorusneft-Vitebskoblnefteprodukt," and the Miyory postal service unit of the Glubokoye regional postal hub of the Vitebsk branch of RUP "Belpochta." During the inspection of the gas filling station in Miyory, it was found that fire extinguishing means (powder fire extinguishers) manufactured by CJSC "Pozhtekhnika" are available for sale. In the postal service retail network, autonomous photoelectric smoke fire detectors IP 212-52SI, manufactured by LLC "Tekhnokontrol," are sold. All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.

Employees of the Miyory Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need for all employees of enterprises and organizations to comply with fire safety requirements. If a fire is detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures for their evacuation, and report the fire to the rescue service.
