«Thin ice» in Mior region

From January 3 to 10, 2026, a special preventive event "Thin Ice" will be held in the Miory district, aimed at preventing the death of people on water bodies during the winter period. During these days, rescuers, together with representatives of OSVOD and internal affairs officers, will conduct preventive raids on water bodies.

The purpose of this event is to remind citizens about ice safety rules.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and OSVOD urge all residents of the district to be attentive and cautious when near water bodies during the winter period.
