Vitebsk region will promote its tourism potential under a unified brand. The symbol of "Vitebsk Region Tourist" is a bear, as reported by Elena Borzdyko, First Deputy Chairperson of the Committee of Economy of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

According to her, the new tourism brand of Vitebsk region was presented at the XIII Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, which recently concluded in Minsk and the Minsk region. Guests and participants of the forum reacted positively to this image, designed to promote the tourism potential of the northern region of Belarus, noted Elena Borzdyko. It is also planned to popularize the "Bear" at the upcoming jubilee XXXV International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk".
