About changes in EcoNiP

By Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus dated October 2, 2025, No. 11-T, amendments have been made to the environmental norms and rules EcoNiP 17.01.06-001-2017 "Environmental Protection and Nature Management.

Environmental Safety Requirements," approved by the Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus dated July 18, 2017, No. 5-T.

In particular, the main innovations include:
the introduction of the form "Journal of Recording Discharges of Pollutants in Wastewater" (POD-8), as well as the procedure for its maintenance and completion;
changes in the procedure for sampling and measuring wastewater discharges into surface water bodies;
the introduction of the procedure for sampling and measuring wastewater discharges into groundwater at observation points of local groundwater monitoring.

The innovations come into force on January 1, 2026.
