On stocking

Autumn is the most suitable period for stocking reservoirs. At this time, air and water temperatures create the best conditions for the acclimatization of young fish.

On November 14, the stocking of Lake Vaja in the Miory district took place. This work was carried out by the lessee of the lake - CHUP "Lidia-Tur". Representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Miory District Executive Committee, the Braslav Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora under the President of the Republic of Belarus, and the head of the Miory District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection A.N. Kapustin were present during the stocking. 400 specimens of six-month-old pike fry were released into the lake. And this is only the first stage of stocking. By the end of the year, it is planned to release 2,000 pike specimens into the reservoir.
