About participation in the "Earth Hour" campaign

Traditionally, on the last Saturday of the first spring month, the Republic of Belarus actively participates in the international environmental campaign – "Earth Hour". The main goal of the campaign is to draw attention to issues of climate change, energy saving, and environmental safety.

On March 29th of this year, for the seventeenth time, together with millions of people around the world, we will turn off the lights for one hour to reflect on the future of our planet. "Earth Hour" is not just a formality; it is a unique opportunity for each of us to make a small but important contribution to the protection of natural resources and the environment.

The Miory District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection invites all residents of the district to join the "Earth Hour – 2025" campaign and contribute to the common cause!

To do this, it is enough to turn off lighting and other non-essential electrical appliances for one hour – from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM – as a sign of support for a responsible attitude towards nature.

Let this hour serve as a symbol of our shared responsibility for the fate of the planet and an incentive for more active environmental protection actions.
