Republican voluntary work day

The Republican Subbotnik (volunteer work day) will be held in Belarus on April 20. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko.

The funds earned on the day of the subbotnik, including at workplaces, will be allocated as follows:
35% – to the Gomel Regional Executive Committee for the reconstruction of the "Children – Victims of War" memorial complex in the settlement of Krasny Bereg, Zhlobin District;
35% – to the Brest Regional Executive Committee for the creation of a republican center for patriotic education of youth on the basis of the Kobrin Fortress of the Brest Fortress;
30% – for the reconstruction and restoration of memorial complexes, sites of military glory located in the regions and in Minsk.
The system of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection will traditionally take an active part in the Republican Subbotnik, including within the framework of the environmental campaign "Together for a Green Belarus!" for cleaning up the land, improving and greening, announced by the environmental agency in the spring of this year.
