On the entry into force of EcoNiP

The Miory District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection hereby informs that the Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection dated February 5, 2024, No. 6-T, has approved the Environmental Norms and Rules EcoNiP 17.06.06-006-2024 "Environmental Protection and Nature Management. Environmental Safety Requirements for Economic and Other Activities Related to the Maintenance and Operation of Livestock Farms and Complexes". The established requirements are mandatory for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs engaged in economic and other activities related to the maintenance and operation of livestock farms and complexes for the raising and breeding of all types of agricultural animals.

EcoNiP 17.06.06-006-2024 establish the best available techniques for the storage, processing, and recycling of by-products of livestock production (manure, droppings), as well as requirements for the operation of livestock farms and complexes, including:

landscaping and greening of these territories;

maintenance of manure storage facilities (droppings storage facilities);

storage of manure (droppings) in field conditions.

The aforementioned resolution comes into force on April 26 of the current year.
