On control measures carried out in 2023

In 2023, the work of the Miory District Inspectorate for Natural Resources and Environmental Protection was primarily focused on preventing offenses and reducing interference in the activities of economic entities. Administrative penalties in the form of fines were applied only to individuals who regularly violated environmental legislation and ignored preventive and precautionary measures.

In 2023, a total of:

- 148 control measures were carried out, with 796 territories and facilities inspected;

- 615 violations of environmental legislation were identified;

- 56 orders to eliminate violations identified as a result of selective inspections and technical measures were issued;

- 61 recommendations for eliminating identified violations (deficiencies) based on monitoring results were issued;

- 54 information letters on eliminating violations were sent;

- 23 legal entities and individuals were brought to administrative responsibility with the imposition of fines totaling over 29.6 thousand rubles;

- 34 individuals were exempted from administrative responsibility with a warning;

- 9 cases of environmental damage totaling 8.6 thousand rubles were identified.
