The greening campaign has taken place!
On November 1, an tree-planting event "Peaceful creative work for the benefit of a clean and green country" was held in the town of Miory. Everything turned out to be a little late. But the reason was objective. The weather does not always favor such events. This time, the day before, the ground was covered with snow. But the snow melted, the temperature went up. And immediately the activists of the green movement got down to business. First, the landscaping of the territory adjacent to the Park of Military Friendship near Kirov Street in the district center began. Work began to boil. The planting was done, but there were still seedlings left. On the spur of the moment, it was decided to continue and landscape the territory along Druzhby Street. Even the drizzling rain did not stop the work. In total, 100 spruce seedlings and 100 birch seedlings were successfully planted on this day.
The Miory District Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection is grateful to all participants of the event. Among them were the Chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee Semyonichev S.O., the Chairman of the District Council of Deputies Drabo V.A., the Head of the Department of Architecture and Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Miory District Executive Committee Podolyako Zh.D., employees of UP ZhKH of the Miory District, Miory Electric Networks. We were all united by one common goal: to make our city more beautiful, cleaner, greener!
