Competition for the best waterfront recreation area

Starting from 2023, the terms and conditions for the republican review-competition for the best improvement of a surface water body have been revised.

The Instruction on the procedure for conducting the republican review-competition for the best improvement of a surface water body was approved by the Resolution of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection dated September 19, 2022, No. 47.

The competition is held annually from May 1 to June 30 in three stages and two nominations:

"Best improvement and maintenance of a recreation area at a water body among state organizations";

"Best improvement and maintenance of a recreation area at a water body among water users providing recreation and tourism services".

From 2023, applications from participants are not required, and the first stage of the Competition for both nominations is carried out by local executive and administrative bodies as part of the acceptance of the readiness of recreation areas at water bodies for the spring-summer season (from May 1 to May 31).
