Initiatives Competition

A competition for youth initiatives has been announced in Belarus! Applications for participation in the 2023 youth initiatives competition are being accepted from April 8 to May 8. The organizer of the event is the Ministry of Education. The public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" is responsible for conducting the competition and coordinating the implementation of youth initiatives.

The event is held with the aim of creating conditions to support the active participation of young citizens in socio-economic and socio-political processes. Subjects of youth initiatives are invited to participate.

Applications are evaluated and selected based on the following criteria:

relevance and social significance of the youth initiative; quantitative coverage of young citizens involved in the implementation of the youth initiative; experience and competence of the implementers of the youth initiative; expected social, economic, and other effects from the implementation of the initiative; accessibility of the results of the youth initiative to the population; material measurability of the result of the youth initiative; and others...

The winners will be determined by a republican commission approved by the Ministry of Education. The announcement of the competition results and the awarding of winners will take place on May 31 of the current year.
