The State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora under the President of the Republic of Belarus is a specially authorized state body subordinate to the President of the Republic of Belarus, exercising, within its competence, state control over the protection and use of wild animals that are objects of hunting and fishing, woody and shrubby vegetation and other wild-growing plants, forest fund, lands with woody and shrubby vegetation (plantations), ensuring the preservation of fish contained in the ponds of these organizations by fish farming organizations.
