That is precisely how they should always be. Lukashenko emphasized the unity of Belarusians in addressing the aftermath of the snowstorms.
On January 13, during a reception held on behalf of the President of Belarus to mark Old New Year, Head of State Alexander Lukashenko emphasized the unity of Belarusians in eliminating the consequences of heavy snowfalls, a BELTA correspondent reported.
Addressing those present, the President stated: "Essentially, we are all serving our homeland by advancing Belarus through concrete actions in the economy, education, healthcare, culture, sports, and state administration. This is daily labor." Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that representatives of all the aforementioned categories did not rest during the holidays but remained at their posts.

"I particularly appreciated your enthusiasm for clearing snow across our country. Journalists have occasionally presented this in jest. Yet there is some truth in that jest, and quite a considerable amount. This is how we must always be – united. Without whining or complaining (there were, of course, a few such cases, but they existed)," the Head of State stated.
Alexander Lukashenko urged everyone to fully appreciate the joy of truly wintry weather, as such conditions do not occur in Belarus every year. "I would like to address fathers and mothers and ask them: go out into the snow and outdoors with your children! Let them remember this winter. The climate has changed, as you know. It is not a certainty that next year or at some other time there will be such wonderful winters again. This is a genuine winter that the Lord has granted us on the eve of the New Year and after it," the President said.
