Miory Regional Executive Committee
Forty-eight representatives of various fields of activity and three institutions have been conferred state awards and a Presidential Commendation. On December 30, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed the corresponding decree and order, BELTA was informed by the Press Service of the Head of State.
Orders, medals and honorary titles have been awarded to 38 employees of various enterprises, organizations and structures for many years of fruitful labor, high professionalism, and a significant personal contribution to improving the judicial system, combating crime, ensuring constitutional legality and state security, protecting state interests, implementing state information policy, developing the oil and chemical industry, achieving high production performance, and demonstrating outstanding achievements in public service, project activities, as well as in the fields of healthcare, education, science, culture and sports.
Valentin Sukalo, Chairman of the Supreme Court of Belarus (1997–2025), has been awarded the Order of the Fatherland, 2nd class. The Order of the Fatherland, 3rd class has been awarded to Pyotr Miklashevich, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Belarus (2008–2025), and Yuri Kharin, Director of the Research Institute of Applied Problems of Mathematics and Informatics of BSU. Alexander Sharapo, Professor of the Department of International Relations of BSU, has been awarded the Order of Honour.
The Medal "For Distinction in Guarding Public Order" has been awarded to seven employees of the Investigative Committee, including Yuri Garin, senior investigator for particularly important cases of the Department for Investigation of Crimes in the Sphere of Organized Crime and Corruption of the Brest Region of the Main Directorate for Investigation of Crimes in the Sphere of Organized Crime and Corruption of the Central Apparatus of the IC, and Andrey Kashkevich, head of the Forensic Department of the Investigative Committee for the Gomel Region.
A large group of employees has been awarded the Medal "For Labor Merit". Among them are Oksana Diakevich, Deputy Director for Core Activities of the Minsk Regional Center for Corrective and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation; Svetlana Zdoronkova, physics teacher at Secondary School No. 34 in Bobruisk; Alexander Pishchik, tower erection welder at State Enterprise "Production Association "Belorusneft"; and Ivan Skarzhynski, surgeon at Brest Central City Hospital.
The Francysk Skaryna Medal was awarded to Sergey Gusachenko, First Deputy Chairman of the National State Television and Radio Company of Belarus (NGTRK), and Olga Shpileuskaya, Director of the National Branch (Representation Office) of the Interstate Television and Radio Company "Mir" in Belarus.
The merits of Dmitry Khvashcheuski, Head of the Main Financial Administration of the Presidential Executive Office of Belarus, have been recognized with the Medal "For Impeccable Service" 2nd class. Elena Mitkova and Svetlana Nosakova, Deputy Head of the Legal Administration and Head of the Personnel Department of the Presidential Executive Office of Belarus, respectively, were awarded the Medal "For Impeccable Service" 3rd class.
The decree also conferred honorary titles of the Republic of Belarus.
The title of "Honored Media Worker" was conferred upon Dmitry Zhuk, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the institution of the Presidential Executive Office of Belarus "Publishing House "Belarus Today"". The title of "Honored Officer of the State Security Bodies" was awarded to Ivan Tertel, Chairman of the KGB. The title of "Honored Master of Sports" was awarded to Ivan Litvinovich, sports instructor of the national Belarusian trampoline gymnastics team at the Republican Center for Olympic Training in Gymnastic Sports.
Presidential Thanks have been issued to 10 representatives of various fields of activity, as well as to three institutions: the Gomel Chemical Plant - for a significant contribution to the development of the chemical industry and efficient production activities; the Republican Center for Olympic Training in Gymnastic Sports and the Republican Center for Olympic Training "Stayki" - for a significant contribution to the development of the respective sports and training of high-class athletes.
Awards have been conferred upon Deputy Head of the Aviation Technical Base for Production of JSC "Belavia Airline Company" Maksim Zaretsky and Director of the Branch "IMS and PP Assembly Plant" of JSC "INTEGRAL" – holding management company of the "INTEGRAL" holding Alexander Melets – for many years of fruitful labor, high professionalism, and significant personal contributions to the development of civil aviation and microelectronics, respectively.
The Presidential Acknowledgement has been conferred upon sports instructor Irina Kurochkina of the Belarusian national freestyle wrestling team at the Republican Center for Olympic Preparation "Stayki" for her high professional skill and outstanding sporting achievements in international and republican freestyle wrestling competitions. Chairman of the Belarusian Wrestling Federation Alim Selimov and Professor of the Athletics Department of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture Tadeusz Juszkiewicz have been awarded this recognition for their conscientious and fruitful labor, high professionalism, and significant personal contributions to the development of physical culture and sports.
For a significant personal contribution to the implementation of the state information policy, high professionalism, and objective and comprehensive coverage of events in the socio-political, economic, and socio-cultural life of the country, the Presidential Acknowledgement has been conferred upon five media workers. Awards have been conferred upon General Producer of the General Producer Center of Belarusian Radio NCTRKB Anton Vasyukevich, Correspondent of the Correspondent Network Department of the Information Broadcasting Directorate of CJSC "Second National Television Channel" Maksym Vechorkou, Chief Director of the Main Directorate of the "First Informational" TV Channel NCTRKB Natalya Gorokhovik, Political Commentator of the Political Commentators Department of the Information Broadcasting Directorate of CJSC "Minsk Television" Yevgeny Pustovoï, and Head of the Photo Information Processing Sector of the Department Covering the Activities of the President of the Republic of Belarus of the Editorial Office Covering the Activities of the President of the Republic of Belarus of RUE "Belarusian Telegraph Agency" Irina Egorshina.
