President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko thanked teachers and educators for their creative work and patience. He stated this at a charity event for children as part of the "Our Children" campaign, BELTA correspondent reports.
"Dear children, our dear patriots, teachers and educators! This is not because we have an election "bacchanalia" now. No, I sincerely believe so. I congratulate you all on the New Year," said the head of state.
Alexander Lukashenko addressed not only those present in the hall of the Palace of the Republic, but also those who will see this on air: "I would like to sincerely thank you for your creative work, for your patience, for the fact that you, waking up in the morning, say that you have to go to work, you have to raise the future generation. Thank you very much. And please accept my most sincere wishes and congratulations on the upcoming holiday."
