President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko approved the draft intergovernmental agreement with Mongolia on mutual recognition and exchange of driver's licenses. The corresponding Decree No. 216 was signed by the Head of State on May 30, BELTA was informed by the Press Service of the Head of State.
The draft agreement has been approved as a basis for conducting negotiations. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is authorized to conduct them, as well as to sign the document.

In accordance with this agreement, Belarus and Mongolia mutually recognize driver's licenses. Citizens of one Party holding a permit for permanent residence in the territory of the other Party shall have the right to exchange driver's licenses without passing theoretical and practical examinations.
